PERUVIAN BEACHES

Peru is one of the most privileged countries in the continent for the quantity of reefs with which it counts. Their uneven coast has allowed us to have the best waves. Here a quick guide.

SOUTH BEACHES

PICO ALTO 43km to the south of Lima. Waves of up to 10mts that explode 1km sea inside, only for experts. Outer-reef, right possibly left. The entrance to the point can be rowing for Young ladies or for "Playa Norte".
PUERTO VIEJO 71km to the south of Lima. Point-break, left, very formed with 2 good tubular sections. A classic from 1 up to 2 mts approx.
PUNTA HERMOSA it is a very pleasant beach 40km to the South of Lima that has several beaches like Kontiki, Playa Norte, La Isla, El paso, etc. Explodes the whole year with right, strong, big and quick waves. With tubular sections.
PUNTA ROCAS In the beach of Punta Negra at 42km to the south of Lima. Reef-break, left and right, long, big and strong, with tubular section. It can pass of the 4 mts. A classic wave, for beginners and experienced.
SANGAYAN it is an island in the department of Ica in the km 245 of the South. It has a tubular wave, right and it releases. It is necessary to rent boats in the beach "El Chaco" to arrive at the Island.
